What you'll see
A soaring Gothic cathedral in the middle of the old town, with a roof of glazed tiles in zigzags and eagles, a dim stone nave and a south tower you can climb by its spiral stairs.
A brief history
The south tower, finished in the 15th century, was for a long time one of the tallest in Europe. The roof was rebuilt after a fire at the end of the Second World War, paid for by people across Austria.
